Law Clerk/Office Manager
Michael is originally from Branson, Missouri, but has lived in Texas since January, 2000. He has happily called Austin his home since March, 2003.
Michael graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with two bachelor’s degrees in May of 1996 and from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of law with his Juris Doctor in May of 1999. Go Tigers!
After graduating from law school, Michael went into federal law enforcement, joining the United States Border Patrol and finding his way to Texas. Michael served in the U.S. Border Patrol as a Patrol Agent in the Carrizo Springs, Texas station for approximately four years. Amongst the many interesting things Michael was honored to participate in during his time in the Border Patrol was to serve on the Carrizo Springs Station’s Horse Patrol for two years.
Michael moved to Austin in March of 2003 and began working with the The Cronfel Firm in May of 2003. Since that time, Michael has continued to work as a highly qualified law clerk; drafting pleadings, conducting witness interviews, assisting in the preparation of appellate briefs at all levels of the Texas Appellate system and conducting legal research in all areas of the firm’s practice. Michael also serves as the office manager for the firm, overseeing the firm’s day-to-day administrative operations.
